A trekking gear checklist for day trips

When planning a hiking trip, go through the checklist below to know what should include as a trekking gear:

Hiking shorts or pants
Suitably perfect hiking pants are quite important. I like those that have ventilation that can be opened to allow for better airflow and keep your legs dry as the sweat leaves the skin.

Hiking fleece
It is must for the lower temperatures. A good hiking fleece keeps you warm and dry under the appropriate waterproof hiking jacket.

Trekking hat
When hiking in colder conditions, a good wool hat is a great addition. Worn under the hood of your waterproof hiking jacket, it keeps your head toasty and pleasant.

Hiking gloves
These should be water and wind-repellent and ideally have some mobility in your hands to grab things, to open stuff, etc.

Hiking boots
When it comes to a very important hike, you need the right shoes or boots for the weather and the time you are hiking. It is a good idea to open them at home or nearby before using them during a walk. Always wear trekking socks when breaking a hiking boot!

Trekking socks
Similar to good boots, good socks are also essential. It is worth buying some beautiful hiking socks that complete the boots or walking shoes to ensure maximum comfort and avoid the terrible bladder!

Waterproof hiking jacket
It depends a lot on the time you go through, but eventually, it will always rain, so you need to bring the right waterproof hiking jacket with you. There are many options to choose from, many of which have removable levels and can, therefore, use throughout the year.

Extra trekking clothes
Extra clothing is a must if you move in different temperatures and weather conditions that can easily happen while climbing a mountain.

This list is not exhaustive but lists some of the basic things you should take with you on your day trekking. Being prepared ensures that you can walk in the most relaxed and pleasurable way.
